The Topo Athletic Terraventure 2 continues to offer reliable cushioning and a wider toe box that allows your toes to splay similar to an Altra shoe. Featuring slightly less cushion than the Ultraventure, the Terraventure 2 makes a great option for trail runners looking for a lighter, more responsive experience. 

However, the addition of a Vibram outsole with deeper, more generously spaced lugs provides traction we have yet to see from Topo. This new outsole design really excels in mud and slush so you can enjoy your run no matter the conditions.

Also, the rock plate in the forefoot was redesigned to maintain its flexibility while adding protection against roots and rocks. Finally, with the addition of a fully gusseted tongue, drainage gills, and a gaiter attachment, this trail shoe is ready for whatever you throw at it.
